How to enjoy this site …
- Simple
- It’s a writer’s website. It has books you can preview and buy, free-to-read stories, blog posts and essays, odd things, strange things, links to music, art, and internet curios, games and gimcracks to waste your time withal.
- So simply have a look around …
- A little more deeply
- It’s an artist’s studio and publishing site. Enjoy the site the way you might enjoy visiting the studio of an artist, a place where paintings and unfinished sculptures litter the floor, the tables, even the chairs and sofas, palette knives, chisels, lumps of clay, brushes and pots of paint lying all around in a mess of creative chaos, figurines, Chinese seals, hand-carved rosary beads, small treasures hidden in corners or buried under scraps of canvas …
- Much of the work is light, easy to read and enjoy.
- A lot is experimental. There are many sketches and studies, short and long explorations of craft and theory.
- 2 seasons: The site has an in-season period (late August-September), and an out-of-season period. In season I’ll publish a batch of new content each week. Out of season new content will arrive more slowly.
- 2026 is the pilot season. I’ll publish 2 books this season:
Satyricon III and Bootes-Waugh, the light-hearted existentialist, fights The Fiend of Fargus Fun Fair. - So maybe check out one of those books, or
- start at the beginning and explore …
- The far horizons ~~ whoosh ~~ better take it in steps:
